Strike Hold

Gun is a fast-acting, penetrating cleaner and lubricant. Originally developed for the U. S. military, it goes on wet and dries in place, leaving a hard finish coating that protects weapons by deterring carbon build-up, contaminants, and corrosion in all weather conditions. As a cleaner, it removes firing residues, gum build-up as well as foreign debris from weapons components. As a lubricant, it contains synthetic-based additives that act like microscopic ball-bearings to reduce friction.

Strike Hold Strike Hold Gun has been battle tested on all types of weapons systems from 9mm pistols to M110 sniper rifles, M4 to .50 caliber, field artillery, and even M1A2 Abrams tanks. Its capillary action coats and reaches all surfaces without retaining dirt, dust, and particulates. It provides along-lasting dry lubricant to greatly reduce friction while preventing carbon build up and removing rust, lead, and copper.

Strike Hold Gun can be repeatedly sprayed onto a surface without gummy build up and it won’t harm materials such as rubber, paint, most plastics, and wood finishes. It contains no CFCs or other ozone-depleting substances by using a non-flammable CO2 propellant. The formulation was created by Michael Huggard (formerly of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division) to help troops that were experiencing a weapon failure rate of almost 50% due to a sandy, desert environment.

After a request by several Major Generals to fix this, Huggard’s solution formed the basis of Strike Hold that works as a lubricant, protectant, and cleaner.

Use of this solution reduced the failure rate to nearly zero. "As a retired Special Forces operator and primary Armorer for the 101st Air Assault Division under General David Petraeus, I can attest to the fact that Strike Hold is by far the most effective cleaner and lubricant on weapons.", says David Foster, Jr. "One of my Ruger Mini 14 rifles has spent close to 30 hours afield with me, and recently when I disassembled it to clean it the Strike Hold was still doing a fine job," says Alaskan gun owner Vic Kennard.
