Contributor Guidelines
Send the idea before polishing the whole piece.
A strong first note can be short. Tell us what problem, repair, build, tool, method, or diagnostic sequence you want to document, who it is useful for, and what photos or measurements are available.
Include these basics
- One to three article ideas or short summaries.
- Whether each piece is original, unpublished, and not submitted elsewhere.
- Disclosure of any prior publication, prior submission, or third-party ownership.
- Photo, drawing, data, and source ownership notes.
- Captions and credits for photos or figures.
- A short byline or shop bio for editorial use.
Useful topics
Diagnostics, repairs, restoration, tooling, machining, stock work, finishing, custom fixtures, inspection methods, unusual firearm problems, and practical shop lessons are all in scope.
