Solvent Kleene (Solvent Kleene. com, offers a series of industrial-grade cleaners ideal for high use shop environments that meet modern safety and environmental standards. D-Greeze 500-LO is a non-hazardous, solvent-based degreaser/ cleaner that outperforms trichloroethane. Designed for room temperature cleaning without heating, it rapidly penetrates and emulsifies oils and greases.
As a firearms cleaner, D-Greeze 500-LO has an aggressive cleaning action that penetrates, dissolves, and emulsifies lubricating oils, grease, adhesive, deposits, and other contaminants. With a low surface tension, it quickly penetrates and cleans small orifice openings, blind holes, and other difficult-toclean surfaces. Unlike aqueous and other nonhazardous cleaners, D-Greeze 500-LO does not compromise performance for safety. It can be used with existing equipment and replaces hazardous solvents.
Current degreasing equipment with good local exhaust ventilation and cleaning methods such as parts washers, immersion with agitation, soak and agitate methods, pump through flushing, and ultrasonic systems without heating. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-HAP (no hazardous air pollutants), and contains no halogens, chlorinated components, terpenes, CFCs, or SARA-listed chemicals and has a very low degree of inhalation toxicity.
Safe for use in a wide range of cleaning and degreasing applications (including aircraft components) D-Greeze 500-LO is compatible for use with all ferrous and nonferrous metals including aluminum, titanium, magnesium, copper, brass, carbon steels, and stainless steel. D- Greeze 500-LO is available in 5 gallon pails or 55 gallon drums. D-Zolve 339 is an industrial-grade carbon remover designed for carbon and burnt-on oil produced by combustion.
Parts can either be placed in an immersion tank applied to a surface via spray. D-Zolve is suitable for use with all ferrous and non-ferrous metals including aluminum carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium and others. In an immersion tank, D-Zolve 339 dissolves and emulsifies. Adding agitation to the immersion tank accelerates the cleaning process. Any remaining deposits in narrow, difficult-to-reach spaces can be removed using a nylon brush.
D-Zolve 339 breaks the chemical bond between the deposits left following combustion and the metal substrate. Devoid of any water content, D- Zolve 339 doesn’t promote oxidation. Firearms can be placed in a soaking tank followed by standard cleaning of barrels rifling. It contains no halogens nor CFCs and is non-flammable, non-corrosive, and non-ozone depleting.
