Gunney GEAR The Gunney MAT is a gun-specific cleaning mat built to provide a clean, durable surface for shop work. Featuring patent-pending barrel holders at each end of the mat, the Gunney MAT is universal for any type of weapon. Created from a proprietary silicone blend, the Gunney MAT is a gentle, nonslip, flexible mat that can be easily rolled up, but also rigid enough to stand its ground and not coil up after weeks or months in storage.
The Gunney MAT outperforms other mats with its chemical and stain-resistance, efficient storage for small pieces, designated areas for disassembly, and ability to be washed with ease. Backed by a lifetime warranty, the Gunney MAT is the last gun cleaning mat you will ever need to buy. The Gunney MAT features two colors, green and gray, and can be had alone or in an Elite package. The Elite package includes the standard Gunney MAT, the Gunney TRAY for cleaning supply management, the start and stop as you please.
You’ll receive some printable schematics for your files in addition to the DVD or online video access. The DVD is handy as it basically serves as a technical manual on video that you can refer to as often as you need to while working on Glocks in the future. Master Gunsmith Ken Brooks, the instructor, is easy to understand, the camera views are clear and cutaway guns are used to ensure a full understanding of the Gunney LITE for maximum illumination of the firearm and parts, and the Gunney BAG for storage.

Clamp-on Bolt Knob Anarchy Outdoors is offering a clamp-on bolt knob for custom projects based on Remington rifles. A Utah-based company, Anparts, fit, and operation of each of the Glock pistols.
My time taking this course was well spent and I can recommend it to others. If you carry and shoot a Glock, be intimately familiar with it by taking this course. If you’re a professional in the firearms industry, even if you do not concentrate on Glocks, you will run into one as they’re everywhere so you should also take this course. You won’t be disappointed. AG archy Outdoors is a supplier of precision rifle components, pistol upgrades, and other high-performance firearms accessories.
Their new Clamp-On Bolt Knob for the Remington Model 700 and similar rifles provides an ergonomic improvement, letting shooters easily add a larger, easier to grip bolt knob without having to modify the bolt handle or bolt body. Easy installation was one of the main design criteria for the new bolt knob. It simply fits over and securely clamps onto the factory bolt knob without requiring special tools or the need to modify factory parts.
Once installed, the hourglass shape and aggressive texture help more positively work the rifle’s action. Made from 6061- T6 aluminum, these are durable, lightweight, and available in different colors including Black, Red, Blue, Gold, Purple, and Clear Anodized. The Clamp-On Bolt Knobs have an MSRP of $49.99. Joe Carlos Articles I just wanted to drop you a line of gratitude for the articles you have published by Joe Carlos about accurizing the AR-15.
In my current upper I have implemented many of his build improvements, including the one shot/clean barrel break-in procedure, a Young bolt carrier modified with anti-tilt
pads, and improved barrel-to-receiver fit. I have to say, this is now the best shooting upper I’ve ever had. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us! 45 Mauser Mystery "The 45 Mauser Mystery" by R. M. Layng (July 2022) was an excellent article on the 45 ACP Mauser conversion. The article was clear and concise and had other helpful information. It reminded me of a short documentary I saw a few years ago on how bagpipes were made.
However, neither the documentary nor the article addressed an important question: Why? Kelly Ray Caton Author R. M. Layng responds. I’m always excited have a reader reply about my articles. I’ll be honest, when I started I never expected to be published. I now have my first two published articles framed on my office wall! Being new to freelance writing, I’m glad you found this clear and concise. or post a letter to Falls Church, VA 22041. For subscription questions or mailing problems contact American Gunsmith
