Came across your article, "Browning Buckmark Varmint/Silhouette" (February 2018) and I wanted to send along my sincere thanks for mentioning our Acraglas so prominently in the piece. Excellent job explaining the work you did on this interesting old pistol, especially the all-important prep work that goes into doing a job correctly.

I’m using one in conjunction with a Sharps Rifle Company (SRCarms.com, Balanced Bolt Carrier Group.

It has a slightly larger rear diameter compared to mil-spec, gives consistent travel and wear when reciprocating and corrects tilt well. It’s a lazy man’s ideal way to level the carrier. Eugene Anderson Joe Carlos responds. When the folks at DS Arms first came up with that unit they advertised it briefly. Being interested in drop-in improvements, I called them but at the time they only offered it with a carbine-length buffer and said they didn’t plan to offer it for standard length.

Given most of my customers are National Match competition shooters, this doesn’t appeal to them and I haven’t tested it yet. AG
