Breakthrough Clean
Breakthrough Clean Technologies (BreakThroughClean.com) offers a line of firearm cleaning products made from a distillation process that are environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and virtually odorless. Unlike many harshsmelling cleaners, solvents, and lubricants, Breakthrough’s line are clear, easier on the skin, and don’t smell bad.
The company is a subsidiary of the Avio Trade Group and specializes in the distribution of chemicals within the aerospace industry, servicing major airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) providers, and repair stations worldwide. The owners of Avio Trade are also gun enthusiasts and realized having more effective, user-safe, and eco-friendly solvents and lubricants would be beneficial for firearms and their owners. The development team has a combined five decades of aerospace chemical experience.
Breakthrough Military-Grade Solvent is a nonwater based distilled petroleum solvent with no carcinogenic or hazardous waste materials. There is no odor and it is non-staining, yet is strong enough to remove all fouling while completely evaporating, leaving no residue behind. This solvent is p H neutral making it safe on wood, plastic, polymer, Cerakote, and hydroprinted parts and surfaces. It cleans efficiently and has flashpoint of 150 degrees Fahrenheit, making it non-flammable.
Battle Born High Purity Oil has the viscosity you’d expect of a good, all-around lubricant. It’s a blend of synthetic oils treated with pressure and corrosion inhibitors, and anti-oxidant, antifoam, and anti-wear additives. This combination creates a wide-range multi-service lubricant and protectant for temperature conditions ranging from -90°F to 417°F. It’s safe for use on all metal, plastic, and polymer parts.
High Purity Oil is bio-degradable, water and steam resistant, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-staining, and has no odor. Battle Born Grease is an advanced lubricant technology made of synthetic grease fortified with sub-micron size PTFE. Useful anywhere a heavier grease or thick lubricant is called for, this is blended completely with pure synthetic base oils, additives, and shear stable thickeners. Battle Born Grease works through an operating temperature range of -75° to +510°F.
Non-melting, non-flammable, water and steam resistant, this non-toxic, no-odor, non-staining grease works well on anything.
