A retired Georgia law enforcement and firearms instructor turned programmer created on online FFL system that may be a perfect fit for your shop. EzOnlineFFL.com is an ATF compliant cloud-based Bound Book that is a good fit for many shops. The system can complete 4473 forms, including digital signatures, on a smart device such as a cellphone or tablet, with data instantly imported by scanning the purchaser’s driver’s license.

A shop owner can manage an unlimited inventory with unlimited firearms Acquisition and Disposition (A&D) records (Bound Books) and users, manage National Firearms Act items, and have full integration with the Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP) and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for background checks. The system has no monthly or minimum fees while offering more features than many other systems requiring minimum monthly fees.

Features like digital 4473’sand 3310’s, electronic signatures, unlimited inventory, unlimited users, unlimited Bound Books, NFA item compatibility, driver license scanning, and total LEEP integration are standard for all as there are no tierbased features or pricing. There are no extra fees for adding more users, or background checks, or adding inventory. No worry about landing in a higher tier because you grow. When you make a sale, only pay the These records can be downloaded in either PDF or Excel formats.

The search function can also locate items even if they have been disposed of. flat-rate per transaction fee. These transaction fees are capped at 50 per month, so any additional transactions that month are free. The process is simple with no more copying or pasting or opening another window to enter the same information. The customer comes in to purchase a firearm. You select the firearm to dispose and scan the back of the customer’s driver’s license.

All the information from the driver’s license is imported into the 4473. Next, send a link to the customer either by email or QR code and they complete the remainder of the 4473 on their phone or other smart device. Once they have signed the 4473, the dealer completes their section and submits the data to LEEP for a background check. Once the check comes back you are done. In many cases, this take less than three seconds!

Your A&D book is automatically updated with the disposition and the transaction is available for view in your LEEP account. Gunsmithing is a huge part of EZ Online FFL. Customer items can be entered into your account with one click and be returned to the original customer all while maintaining an accurate A&D record. The system also allows gunsmiths to document their work and print receipts or hold tickets to help organize items in the workshop.

No hardware is required unless you want to use the barcode features or label printing features, which will require a barcode scanner and/or label printer. The software runs in a browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome, so no downloads are needed. EZ Online FFL works on Mac, PC, tablets, and phones, or whatever similar devices you happen to have. A custom label can be created for free.

Other features include product inventory scans to ensure inventory is current and manufacturing one firearm to another firearm. Dealerto-dealer transfers can be conducted with no extra fees for additional items. The FFL Search tool through integration with the ATF provides a list of all valid FFL holders along with real time integration with ez Check to ensure accuracy. NFA items are handled just as easily as all other GCA items.

Far Users can call, email, or create a trouble ticket, with most problems resolved during the first response or phone call. EZ Online FFL is $0.99 per transfer with no other fees, monthly or otherwise, and with a maximum fee of $49.50 per month if your shop is conducting more than 50 transfers that month. If you have a good month and conduct 100 transactions, you still only pay $49.50 for that month. If you take the family on a vacation and only do ten transactions, you pay $9.90.
